Customs services

The import procedure – release of goods into free circulation in Latvia upon the importation of goods from third countries – draws up an import declaration (IM A).

Export procedure – export of EU goods outside the EU border – draws up an export declaration (EX A, EU A).

Transit procedure: movement of third-country goods from the border to the domestic customs offices or movement of goods from the customs warehouse to the EU border, and delivery of goods to the consignee in another EU Member State under a transit guarantee (T1, Tira carnet).
